SCOPE
What our domain and hosting services include
Domain names and DNS
We support domain selection, registration, transfers and DNS configuration to establish the right address for your brand.
Hosting and SSL
We assess hosting options against your website’s technology and traffic requirements, then plan deployment and SSL setup.
Business email
We plan email accounts on your own domain and the DNS records they require, with a setup suited to your business.
LET’S PLAN YOUR SETUP
What do we plan when setting up your domain and hosting?
We clarify capacity, renewal fees, backups and support coverage at the proposal stage.
- Agreement on domain ownership and account access
- Hosting and DNS configuration
- SSL and launch checks
- A schedule for backups and renewals
Choosing hosting: capacity, costs and support
Capacity and compatibility
We assess storage, traffic, software requirements and email accounts together. Resource limits and upgrade options are set out according to the selected service’s terms.
Renewals and ownership
We clarify the registration account, access arrangements and renewal responsibilities. Introductory pricing is considered separately from later renewals and any licence fees.
Backups and support
Backup frequency, retention and restoration coverage are documented for the chosen package. Website migration and application maintenance are treated separately from hosting support.
YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED
Frequently asked questions about domains and hosting
Can I use my existing domain?
Yes. We review management access and existing DNS records, then plan any configuration changes needed.
Can you migrate my existing website?
We review the site’s technology, files, database and email setup. That assessment defines the migration scope, backup requirements and transition schedule.
What does the hosting package include?
Storage, traffic, email, backups and technical support are specified in a proposal tailored to your needs.
How are domain and hosting costs determined?
The domain extension, hosting capacity, email requirements and additional services affect the total cost. Initial registration or setup fees and subsequent renewal charges are listed separately in the proposal. Work such as migration and application maintenance is scoped separately.
Can you set up business email?
For email accounts on your domain, we review your existing service and DNS configuration. The number of accounts, storage, provider and setup scope are determined by your needs. If existing emails need to be migrated, we plan that work separately.
